I had a recent opportunity to test ride the GL1800 Goldwing...It was a very interesting experience...handles way better than you'd expect for something this huge...it can look intimidating but its very well balanced with the horizontally opposed 6 cyl engine...the GL1500 is also a flat 6...they even have a reverse gear...and creature comforts that will spoil you from the initial first ride...Power and handling will really surprise you...
I nearly bought one but my ST is still fine enough for me...
Congrats on the "machine", I didn't know you were that old!
But I think you got jipped....it's missing the other 2 wheels!
Have fun with that thing. I've even heard they have a device to assist you picking it back up if it gets laid/dropped on it's side.

Hey Randy,
But I think you got jipped....it's missing the other 2 wheels!

I think maybe it is missing the doors and roof as well. When it is finally assembled I think it may look like a Volkswagon Beetle and answer to German commands as well.
Seriously good on ya Randy and I hope you enjoy many miles on your new ride. Just hope you do not forget us pain in the arses, while you ride off on your COUCH.
