Lessee now,
first cost $1,000 delivered in the back of a truck with the brakes locked on and in a generally sorry cosmetic condition.
~$50 for new brake pads (embarrassingly, I threw out the front pads it came with because who knew they were supposed to be tapered?)
Boosted with a car battery and it fired right up.
Since then, say another $500 in used parts, mostly from Andreas.
And $120 for stainless brake lines.
And another $150 for Progressive fork springs & new fork seals & front pads to replace the fork oil soaked ones.
And the paint. Gawd! Paint ain't cheap, over $200.
In a separate budget, $1,500 for the sidecar plus $150 for steel & fasteners to hold the chair onto the bike.
Tires, like gas & oil, are consumables and budgeted with the rest of the operating costs.
That's $2020 to date on the bike alone and that's only the stuff I remember.Fred Hill, S'toon

Windshields
My bro-in-law made me two new windshields for my Vetter fairing out of polycarbinate. Never have to worry about them breaking. Literally bulletproof and cost me nada. Have one on the bike now for nearly 3 years and still looks like new.You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...
