The black bike on the maroon background with silver lettering looks awesome!

Nice work on these... I'll be watching for the sale to start.

The maroon with the black bike looks good............hmmmmmm........that bike looks REALLY familiar for some reason.

I agree with both of you. The only thing left IMHO is to get the curve of the wording at the top the match the curve of the patch. Then it would be perfect.

I think that if your going to offer a 30th anniversary logo/patch for the XS1100, It should have been done last year. 2009. Being as the Special's first year model was 1979. Should add Midnight Special being as the Midnight's 1st model year was 1980.

The Poll is a little misleading

I voted thinking the bike was going to be black not blue....After I cast my vote,I noticed the photos under the poll were blue tanks....I think whether the background is blue or maroon, the bike should be black.

                  QRfan,

There was another thread that was started with the final design.

                  check it out:

We are going with the black bike with maroon background.

I have sent the paperwork to Yamaha for the approval to use the Yamaha logo. I still have not heard from them yet. I am going to be cotacting them this week for a follow up. I will keep everyone updated once I hear from them.
