Hey Todd, too bad you and Don don't live closer together, misery loves company they say.
Seriously though, glad you had the correct reaction that saved you from more serious injuries, and that the bike fired right up for you.
Cheers!!

Hey Todd... glad to see you haven't lost your kind, gentle manner. lol
Another unfortunate incident that could have turned out much worse for both rider and ride.
Glad to hear you're up and about with so little 'down' time however, be sure to have that wrist checked so that any necessary repairs are made to it and it heals with full function.
BTW... I thought someone your size would have better cushioned the bike to minimize damage! But, then I suppose you would have to remain on it for that to happen. lol
Take care... quick & full recovery so you can get that bike back in shape.
Oh, as for the fairing... it's much easier to head on down the road with a fairing that splits the airflow around the mass than to motor on without the fairing and the airflow hitting the mass head on, making it more difficult for us 'little' people to hang on and 'enjoy' the ride. ;-)
Heal well.

It was doing a little better until I went out and dug a hole to put a slab in for the tire changer I bought. It's a little better every day though, thanks.
Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
