This is actually sad to see. My first PM in my inbox was from Andreas. He told me he has spare parts galore, and would help me in any way that he could. I sadly declined the offer because I am on the other side of the pond. It would have been very easy for me to pull a stunt like that.
Something I have learned, is that you do not steal anything for your bike or kit. It's the fastest way to get into an accident. You pay your dues and if you cannot afford it, make some form of arrangement or give back the stuff.
To the person who has the package. We are all here trying to get the best for our bikes. We only have a few people in the world that can supply us with these parts. Andreas trusted you and sent you the package, costing him time, effort and postage fees. If you cannot afford the stuff you received, lift your butt, wrap the package again, pay the postage fees and send it back to Andreas. Don't spoil the good relationship we have with the few suppliers by doing this to all of us.
I would love to have a set of side covers to, since the top slots on my covers is broken. But I cannot afford R1300 for a set of covers. If you are in the same boat as I am, then just return the package and wait until you have the bucks to buy it.
Andreas, hope you get your money or your package back. Sorry for the few non-biker that seem to hide amongst us.

It looks like you got shafted this time.This story sounds very familiar.This is the kind of the MO that we have been running into in our business lately.People call and are desprate for service then don't pay.My job desciption is "electonic technician"but I'm becoming a collection agent.I hope this member man's up and pays the bill or sends the parts back.I also hope nothing bad has happened to him/her so they can't contact you.But my guess is you tried everything else before you posted this thread.You know the saying no good deed goes unpunished.

I agree wholeheartedly. IF they are guilty... hang them out in the breeze here in the forum so nobody else deals with a loser like that. Honestly, I do see Tod's point. If perhaps it turns out this were one of the LONG term members here, that perhaps is older and suffered a heart attack or the like.
