Andreas' prices are as good or better than any .Anyone that would stiff him is really a low life. Hopefully that is not the case in the current deal ,and there is just some kind of postal hangup.

              Wow tough crowd,

I think Andreas was trying to nudge the guy a little to remind him politely.LOL
Then everyone delivers a full on attack. He might be a little intimidated now.
I too have bought parts from Andreas,he is great to work with.Although I have always sent payment before parts ship.

                Andreas is a class act

This goes to show you the type of guy Andres is. I'm sure he's tried to contact the guy who owes him via email. His posting here is just a nice way of asking him to pay up. But notice that he's nice enough and hasn't revealed who the scumbag is. I guess that would be the next step...... PUBLIC EMBARASSMENT!!!

Its internet commerce. It's imperfect. It's a drag when trust gets breached but stuff happens in business and in life. I cannot know what the story with the buyer was. Maybe he is a deadbeat, or he forgot, or is already dead or the moolah is in the mail or whatever... Who knows...?
I expect the simple thing would to be revise the policy of shipping without payment in hand.
And just one other thing.. I work in the construction business in NYC. It's not exactly a kid gloves environment. But if a client owed me money for goods delivered and hadn't paid, sticking a picture on a woodworking forum of a 45 and hollowpoints directed to him with a demand for payment, would likely just get me arrested.

I know everyone was kidding, about "paying a visit" etc.. Right??

No.. XSokieSPECIAL was serious. He wants Andreas to print out a picture of that 45, then load it from the pic of 40 caliber bullets, then give the gun to Al Capone to go have the guy "swimmin' with the fishes".

I do think people are jumping the gun on this. (Pun intended) It reminds me of when Obama called the cops idiots in that whole professor thing.. without knowing what the actual story was.

Sure, this guy could be a deadbeat, but he could also just as easily been in a car wreck, had a death in the family, had a house burn down.. etc. Millions of reasons. Quit being so quick to jump on the hate wagon, folks.

Andreas.. you can find the member in the member's list here and see when they were last on here. If they have been here since you posted this.. then I might be wanting to know some answers. I know you had a bad experience with Paypal, but it sure would solve problems like this.

As I said, I hope you get this taken care of to your satisfaction.

please think of this we have a rep of helping other members here now. being harsh is not bad but no name was given at all. i know of 5 members who would bend over backwards to help out one has passed away. i would hate to ask andre now if i was in a bind and wanted my bike fixed if he would extend me a little credit after this being the second one doing this to him.

so if u think this is harsh think what it could do to u now if ur in the spot needing parts and being low on cash.

Well.. let's just say that I hope you never sit on a jury duty.. or at least on a jury duty for me. You've heard the prosecutor, and are now ready to pass judgement without hearing from the defense.

Being harsh IS bad if you have no clue what the whole story is and make snap judgements. How much of an azz are you people going to feel like if you find out the guy's been in the hospital.. or a wife or kid died. Is $130 worth of parts really what's going to be on your mind at that time? Yes, it's not really fair to Andreas, but this is one of life's unforseens possibly. Maybe it's not.. but I would sure like to know the whole story before I started letting the names fly. You guys don't know a name.. and I'm really glad Andreas had the sense not to post it in this angry group without knowing all the facts.

People are still going to help other people in here no matter what the outcome here.

So that's an automatic guilty sentence?

I've heard of SEVERAL people being screwed over since I've been on here. I've been screwed over. If there were TEN others before this, it doesn't make this one automatically guilty.

I hate to see anyone get screwed over, but how Andreas chooses to conduct his business is beyond my or your control. If he decides he needs payment before shipment now, that's his choice. If you personally talk to him and get him to ship first, again, that's his choice and he knows there's a risk and trust involved... but I'm not going to hope someone never gets screwed over simply for the fact that I'd like to be able to DEPEND on people here to ship me parts before I can pay them.

You're missing the point I was making. You are being harsh when you don't know the story. You've read the cover page and judged the whole book.

Have any of you ever heard of or experienced a lost package.. especially after Halloween when the post offices start hiring all the temp hands? You all seem so sure he's already gotten the package, and you don't know. You don't know anything about the guy or even who he is. I'm sure if the name was posted, you'd probably have several people come forward to vouch for the guy if he's been here for any amount of time.

What it comes down to.. I think many of you are being pretty critical and harsh about a situation you have no clue what the real story may be. You seem pissed off for someone screwing over Andreas... when nobody knows this has actually happened.. except that it's taken a little longer to pay than expected, but not sure of the reason yet. Hmmm.. Yup.. Obviously has to be GUILTY!

OK.. Most of you (Except maybe a couple Okies) can figure out where I stand on this.. lol. I'm done defending someone who may or may not be guilty.
