Fred...I have to say that you have kindled a keen interest on my part to having a sidecar,,they are cool and the Dauntless link shows there are options other than Ural...BTW I never saw any specs on the Ural bike...What is its displacement???

Hey Fred thx for the link, different is always cool. I'm not sure if it was an Ural (only seen the back end for 15 Min.) but the same tire was on the back of the sidecar without the rack though & all the tires were spoked. Man you sure know your stuff on these. I still would like to one parked one day to get a real good look. - Dan

            Hi Dan,
yeah, 50+ years in the school of hard knocks and some of the stuff starts to make sense.
On a personal note, next time you are in Espanola say hi to any Tremblays or Delisles you might meet; I married into that tribe.

At the Edmonton Motorcycle show, a couple of years ago, they had an original vintage BMW version right next to a new Ural copy version.

It was quite interesting to see them side by side. Ural is technology 'frozen in time'.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

                Missing pix

                Hi folks,
perhaps Mr. Stupid shouldn't have rearranged his photobucket albums. The photos in my "why I ride a sidecar" string disappeared too. I re-posted the whole damn lot into a final post to that string if anyone wants to see them.
