Hey Fred,
The wheel on the sidecar looks like it leans in towards the bike at the top.
Is that how you get it to track right?
Did you have to build brackets to make the sidecar mount or did the whole thing come as a kit with universal mounting hardware?
I would like to build or maybe buy one.I'd like to fit the XS with the car. Then still have at least one other bike I can keep on two wheels.
I would love to have a setup like that. It would likely enlarge my riding season a great deal. Other benefits apply as well...

I don't want to steal Fred's thunder or possibly ruin the surprise, but a Sidecar TECH TIP may be in the making! Shhhhh, let's wait and see what else he posts!

Hi Tarzan,
I bought the sidecar from Norm Pottruff who grafted on it's Honda Civic braked wheel & hub. Norm reckons a leaned-in sidecar wheel makes a rig steer better.
OTOH, my son's XS750/Spirit Eagle rig
Has it's SCW leaned out from the factory and it steers OK too.
And while 50 years ago you could buy sidecar fittings from any motorcycle shop, these days it's strictly DIY unless you want to pay a fortune to one of the remaining few sidecar specialists.
