I've just hopped over from Yahoo. This format is a bit daunting at first but should be really excellent once I come to grips with it.

                      Hello

                      Hello all,

                      My name is Jeremy Lizakowski,
from Grand Forks, ND (insert jokes here)

I am a recently new member to the XS11 family.

I had a 77 XS750 a few years ago, but didn't like its unbalanced stance.

I test-drove a few plastic bikes, but they were too "easy" to ride,
and I would probably get myself killed.

I bought my 78 XS1100E on ebay last summer.
Thought it would just be temp ride until I could find out what I wanted.

                      THE XS11 ROCKS!

And even more so after finding this website and the XS11 group (RIP).

This is a great information database,
and all the members here are great.

Hope to get to all the tech tips this summer/winter.

                      for now,
                      jakal92

PS: Before pics coming soon so I can get some advice on addons.

PSS: This makes 5 posts for me, no longer new, makes me feel XSively good.
                      for now,
                      jakal92

                                Checking In

Ron Lyman here... on the yahoo list I'm not sure who I was

Bought a XS1100SF back in spring '98, joined the group in the fall, or maybe the next spring. The bike was wrecked in a little tumble out Nova Scotia way in '00, now I'm on an '81 Goldwing. I'll stay in the group until I'm kicked out, and attend all the rallies I can.

Currently prepping for the trip from Ontario to the BC Big Island Deuce rally - I'm leaving in 3 days, whee!

                                Ron.
