I burn off a rear tire nearly every year, or about 10,000-15,000kms/yr. This is low for me, though, as I have few places to go from where I live now.

The avg for a car, in Canada is 25,000-30,000kms/yr. I put on about 35,000kms/yr on the Neon.

Has this been an unusual year for you? Just say, you usually drive less, but this year was a little more bike oriented....

12,000 to 15,000/yr. This year I am pushing 18,000, probably due to having been laid off for a few months.

I have no commute (work from home), and I've put 3 to 4 thousand miles on my XS since buying it in July.
