lol.. Seen them is competition. Takes two guys.. one on each side. They get it ready above the log, then gas it. The motor torques down and cuts the logs VERY quickly.

Most of them in the class use 2-stroke dirt bike motors though.

Stihl chainsaws rule!



Without these saws (and other Stihls) I wouldn't be here. I'm really a thumper lover, the 1978 Yamaha SR500E is my first love, but when I got an opportunity to trade tree work for the 1100 I jumped on the deal.

L0L ~ If that's the road I'll try the downhill direction! From my Adventure Rider write up : "The 500 has 30hp going uphill and 300hp on the downhill sections"

Seriously though the Yamaha 1100 is no match for the SR500 in the twistys, even today's crotch rockets are hard pressed to stay with me unless the pilot is exceptional.

This is not a slag off of the 1100, I have one and it's a rocketship, it's just getting one to track well when pressed in hard cornering.
