Will your bike do 85 ya think? They have 160 MPH speedos from the 79's.

I sure hope it will!
There has been a few briggs v-twin choppers that top out over 100mph. Same clutch system. So I have high hopes for my top speed.

new headlight mounted.

Working on an aluminum speedo-bucket,
all I need is mounting tabs on it, Its bolting to the ignition key mounts.





Its hard to tell, but the bottom is actually rounded out a bit.

Did some cutting and milling on the handle bar clamp thing.


And took off some of the ugly on the triple tree.



I will be moving the ignition somewhere else, and be mounting the speedometer on the ignition mounting bolts.

Hey keep the pics & info coming!!! I can't wait for the end result. At least this is not boring & done b4, what an original! When its done you'll get alot of attention, don't know anyone who wouldn't walk across a parking lot to check it out. I gotta admit, when I seen the motor it blew my mind, but its 'your bike' dude - Dan

More exhaust work today, Got it all tacked together,
From where it stops, I'm running the two pipes back to about where the jackshafts are, then put turn outs on the ends.

Started today by making some exhaust flanges.



Then I started cutting and fitting my bends.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope it was just a parts frame: but as i sit here crying over the carange of a bike i love.

What if I said it was a perfectly operational bike? so I took it apart for the fun of this.

I'm sorry, but the cooling shield on the engine MUST be painted black! Looks great so far! keep us informed.
