Started putting in my new frame. Its coming along good so far.
Only got this one side tacked in so far.

So, what exacly is that engine from? Is it from a lawnmower? Because I've got like four of those in the barn! And what about a tranny? I'm very interested in this build.

Im not sure exactly what this one came from exactly. I know they are on big generators. tillers, presure washers and stuff similar to that.

For my tranny I used a CVT clutch system. Like what snowmobiles, rhinos, some fourwheelers use.

Haha, I know.
I havent had time for it lately.
I worked on it today, all I got done was fender struts, and I took my flat fender and rounded it a bit. Looks tons better.



and For the shaft drive...
The frame I grabbed was shafty to begin with, And I went that direction. I wish I would have converted to chain, might have worked out better

i have to ask, why did you go with a shaft drive for this creation?

i would have thought a chain drive rear wheel would have been easier?

i have to confess, it's homely............... but i like it.

I've started it once before right after I got the drivetrain put together, no throttle or seat. It was all I could do to hang on to it,

I could Start it right now and motor around a bit. but I am wanting to get a few more things done on it before I do that.

So how much longer do you think before you can test ride it? I am just curious how well it will work. It will definitely be unique.

Welded in the bottom support for the seat springs, and cut out my taillight\license plate bracket.
Also got some nice pictures..

I cut the handle bars down, they only rise up about 2 inches now and are nearly straight.
They look mean, but feel weird, So I might change them later on.

Mounted the Gas tank today,
and made a seat bracket and pivot, so seat is mounted. Springs arent mounted yet.

Where you have the exhaust finising atm,
you could place the 'x' pipe there, then finish with a dual muffler system,
was JAT.
The 2-1 would work well too, and probably less weight.

The bikes coming up well,
I was looking at the exhaust you have put together, a 'X' pipe
to link the 2 cylinders would be easy to do and might
give it a bit more power.

I was thinking about a 2 into 1 system originally.

Where would I put the x?

Nice looking work! I hope you have sent some pictures to the Briggs folks. It could be in their next add campaign. I can imagine the HD want to bes walking around it in the parking lot trying to figure out what model that is. And it would still out run most of their 20K machines. Can't wait to see it finished. I love this kind of project. One of those "jest for the hell of it kind of things".
