So you vote for Sunday and so far weather looks bearable Yes?
Do you know the name of a an establishment we should head for?
I can find it by nose but don't know name of my favorite.
I would like to ride as a group at least joining up in stages. Pick a Meeting place near you on the route? Easy to find (not Timmies)

Lunch at 1;00pm? Leave Hamilton area 11:00am?

Sunday is good, weather looks ok, we'll find your fav restaurant when we arrive. Meet up at the rear of The Keg's parking lot at Upper James (hwy 6) and Lincoln Alexander Parkway, Hamilton at 11am. Liesurely ride out to Dover for lunch with Hamjam at 1pm. From there...whatever.
Swmbo says as long as I get home before the street lights go on, I'm good to go.
Anyone else thinking of joining in?

A plan has formed. Saw dozens of bikes on my drive home to night. 17c at 7:00pm Yesterday they predicted 12 so we are doing better than expected.
The Keg parking lot at Lincoln Alexander and Upper James should be easy enough to find on Sunday morning 11;00am

24 hours into the decision process and only one post
Would the great undecided at least express an opinion
the forecast for today was single digits in Mississauga and yet on the drive home from work it hit 14 and was still 12 at 8pm so forecasts are unreliable.
Hamjam says he is going by Car if we go.

It would be great if you could make it Sandy. Three bikes makes it a rally. (Phil told me that so it must be true) Maybe you could meet up with Hamjam and Phil for the ride to the Hammer. Rick

Hi Rick It looks like it's just you and me mad enough to do this. Sandy has something else he is doing.
Weather looks like 1 and sunny to start and 9 high with partly cloudy. Snow overnight Sunday. Call me before 9 am if you don't want to go.

We Had a Ride

To those who did not make it. Rick & I had a nice ride to Port Dover. Lovely sunny day. Temp dropped dramatically as we approached Port Dover so glad it was not further. Nice lunch , overlooking the beach.
Warmed up nicely for the ride back Via the Grand River & Clapperson's Corners.

Tom I took the camera and missed numerous photo opportunities. As I do not know how to post on here no matter.

Thanks Rick for a pleasant day out. Those too far or too busy missed a good time. Hope some of the other SOXS were able to squeeze in a ride in their area.

I'm Still Smiling

Hey Tom. Sorry no pics. Just as well, we both looked like the Michelin man all bundled up.
After an initial hiccup with my bike we headed out to Dover. Cool but not COLD until we got about 15km from the port. Had a fresh perch lunch and several coffees and headed out to Cayuga, up to Brantford and on to Flambrough. It really got nice once we headed away from the lake. Jim is a very experienced rider and a pleasure to ride with. The traffic was light and we had a nice relaxing ride except for running Jim's bike down to fumes once.
It was my first ride of the season as well as a shake down run for my bike. I covered 200 Km (125miles) Jim was probably around 300Kms.
Overall it was a great day. Fair weather, good roads and great company.
Two wheeled therapy - good for what ails ya.
