Damn it days like to morrow i wish i was retarded like you Rick
If I can wake up in time I will take the bike to WORK so I can ride home via some out of the way place.
The Guelph move is going better than expected so i may be able to go riding in the late afternoon Saturday.
That route of yours sounds nice please enjoy. How far is Point Pelee from your house? for a future SOXS outing.
The word for today is Incredible!

Sounds good, Let me know if Sat afternoon is a go. Maybe meet for coffee.
The point is about 3hrs from here on the highway. The backway is an hour longer but well worth the time. A good solid day trip. June would be a good month for that with the longer days.
Yes being retarded makes life much easier. Don't wait to long to join me.
Gotta go now, The road is calling me. Rick

      • Hi Rick,
How was your ride? After a busy day at work I too headed out for a ride. Belfountain Forks of the Credit (river) Glafd I took my just in case sweater and was home shortly after dark.
Let put Pelee on our day ride schedule then. Do you know a lunch stop for that?
See rallies section for route planning to XS East.
See how the day goes and maybe we can squeeze in a ride before the steet lights come on

        • Good day to be me!

I had an excellent ride. I've been feeling like a wet dish rag since I got home. Totally relaxed. A little cooler near lake Erie but still nice. Had another bike following me for about 100kms. We stopped and had coffee in Jordan Valley. The bike ran great and the clutch mod works fine.
A lot of bikers must have been too ill to go to work today. More bikes than cars on the roads.
I haven't been to the Point for about five years. As I recall there were some good eats in Leamington"The Tomato Capital Of The World". (The giant tomato cracks me up every time). Let me check my schedule....mmm..I'm available for that trip whenever everyone else is.
Give me a call tomorrow if the coffee thing works out for you. Glad to hear you got some saddle time in today, possibility of some flurries next week. Rick

One of the hazzards and interesting parts of riding a 30 yr old motorcycle. I know what you mean. I'm pulling my carbs tomorrow(my favorite) to fix a lean condition. Hopefully back on the road for thursday when the weather gets nice again. Good luck, Rick

                              • How was your day?

Good thing we didn't schedule something. Now it's thunderstorms all weekend.
Made some carb changes to the Hot Rod and did two dyno pulls this morning in Brantford. No clutch slip and the mixture was dead on and the torque curve on these bikes never ceases to amaze me. 3500-7000rpm almost straight up.(slight exageration).
Let the Hot Rod pick the route home and turned a 30min trip into a 3 hour tour on roads I didn't know were there. Lots of wrist twisting, A very good day indeed. Rick
