Over here Slo Mo. Where all the other events and rides are listed ?? for the Southern Ontario Riders otherwise known as the SOXS.

Port Dover anyone ?

Friday 13th August. Incase any one does not know. Port Dover on the shores of Lake Erie plays host to Motorcycles every Friday the 13th.
This being August it will be well attended. So if you like crowds and masses of motorcycles head for Port Dover. Activities start in the morning and are in full swing by mid afternoon. Along with bikes there are Bands palying and
T shirt / leather vendors.
I plan to attend: leaving Mississauga around 4pm.

I have the day off and am thinking of going early because I don't run with the wild one's I'll be home hopefully before it gets dark.

Last time I went I met up with Gary and we hung out all day!

I on the other hand must work all day On your way out of town...Keep an eye out for a Red Helmet apparently I am quite recognizeable ....at speed
If you met Gary C I must give hima call. Might have to go on the Maxim as the XS is still acting up.

Going to see Tinman 905 to morrow to see if he can get Addie running right.
If all goes well I still plan to attend Port Dover.
Gary C will not attend as he has to work.
I know atleast 5 people who are going but it would be nice to meet up with an Xsive or two.

Starts at 11am Wallbridge - Loyalist Road Truck stop just off Hwy 401 at Belleville.ON. finish is in Oshawa this year.
would be good to see any of the other SOXS
Look for us in the resturant feeding our faces about 10am

Well did you get wet enough? I met the ride going the other way. (I was heading east)
Lots of bikes parked under the over passes. I guess they didn't think it was going to rain.

Lancaster Bomber

Hi to the SOXS.
Anyone interested in attending the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope (Hamilton) on Sunday 14th ? It is the 70th anniversay of the Lancaster Bomber. One of the only two flying examples in the world lives right here in Southern Ontario.

Dieppe Memorial

As Friday the 19th is the anniversary of the Dieppe Raid.
I plan to exercise my Freedom and take a ride down to Hamilton Beach to visit the Memorial there. 197 of the casualties were from Hamilton.
After that I will head over to Oshweken to watch the Sprint cars going round and round

Phil, I was at The Glen on Sunday to watch the cars go round and round,, and,,,, they didn't.

Otherwise, just might have met ya in Hamilton. I'm off to Napanee next weekend to ride around and around.
