Bill - that must be the campsite you were talking about with the railroad tracks near by. Nice video. You gonna take your bike on the train, or are you just locomoting? Looks like fun.

Got my brother's bike running yesterday, and just got back from a little spin. Do you believe this weather . Too good.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

No bike on the trainHere is my schedule leaving Feb 12th..Cincy to Chicago,Chicago to Sacramento CA to see the CA train museum and then to Portland OR for what ever and then back the northern route to Chicago and back to Cincy..12 day trip...trains and motorcycles and trucks!!!!!!!!!!I like travelling by train but not in coach..first class only other wise it is Greyhound city.Love the scenery.

And what is more American than a train station...with tuesday coming up..

Have three possible rides I am thinking about for next year, my third idea would be an all day ride, start early and finish late with some I75 mileage...got all winter plus you guys can come up with your own thoughts.
Yuppers Doug that was the camping trip I was talking about last week, had a great time, only three of us and I hiked away from the group and camped in a Halloween filled night with little critters all around and black as pitchWhen camping by yourself things get amplified Every little sound plus trains blowing by at 50 mph just 50feet away not to mention the beer and the urinary thing
Will get pics from this weekend soon and if I like them will post a couple.

Lorax, this sunday I might be riding near your way. Might go to Camden for a quick hot dog at The Depot next to the tracks and then to Eaton to the Fort ST. Claire Park for a quick stop.Ride around there a few times a year with a trip thru Cambellestown following the tracks to Richmond and the Mickey D'S with the outside bench facing the NS line.See what the temps are but bike is running good I still wanna ride:-). Haven't downloaded pics from last weekends campout yet.
What great weather we have had..got out yesterday for about 50 miles..
        Life is good.

Bill, that sounds like a fine time, unfortunately, I will not likely be doing any riding this weekend, my 6 y/o had his tonsils & adnoids removed yesterday and I will be tending to him this weekend. may ride to work tomorrow, haven't decided as yet. I do however appreciate you thinking about me though, wish I could go. Maybe next time, have a nice day and ride safe

            Hey Bill,

If you like trains you're going to love the Old Sac train museum. I haven't been there in many years, but I remember it being quite impressive. Old Sacramento in itself is a pretty cool place to see. SWMBO and I are natives of Greater Sacramento and we still get back there once or twice a year to see family. In fact we have been wanting to do a round trip train ride from here to there, but haven't had the time yet. Have fun and don't come back without pictures!
I know this, because Tyler knows this.

              Eric,
Rode my bike thru Sacramento years ago(yuppers, same bike:-) on my way to Redwood City CA and went thru on the train two years ago and decided I wanted to see the museum so this is the year.I do take a lot of pics with the digital camera...didn't know you were from that area, thought you were a native here.

Hey Cinci guys, you have probably heard the rumour of a Tiny Town or Little Peoples place around here,it did exist till about two years ago when Rumpke bought it out. It was just around the next bend from the shop.

Well we all know that the chicks come after us 1100 riders no matter where we go..fact of life

I always did like the Beverly Hillbillies..must have it in my blood....

I hiked away from the other people and camped on top of a hill over looking the tracks, little critters kept russling the fall leaves all night long along with the LOUD NS trains rolling by at 50 mph

Sunset from the tent was nice, temps were in the high 30's

We did the traitional chicken thing, this was the first of three plus we had 16-20 ct shrimp MMMMMMMMM GOOD......

Got up early the next morning for a little walk in the cool crisp morning by myself,it's nice being alone sometimes to clear the head.....

I took lots more pictures but...for now...
