I don't know how anyone can ride in sandals or flip flops, hurts my instep to upshift in tennis shoes on a long ride. I went to boots a long time ago. Guess I'm just a wimp (but I still have all of my original outer layer of skin).

Yesterday on my way home from work, I see these 3 older people on brand new scooters. 2 women and one guy Wearing shorts and flipflops. The second rider was a woman who must have weighed around 300 to 350 lbs. After she made the turn thru the intersection, she adjusted herself in the seat and the weight shifting, I could have swore she was gona loose control. That scooter almost did the tank slap thingy. Sure hope they made it to their destination.

A co-worker at my last job showed-up to work on a chopped Honda VTX.
          The co-worker is 6'9" and 480 lbs.
Another co-worker watched him park the bike. When he got off the bike the 2nd guy said "At first I thought the bike had saddlebags but they were your butt-cheeks"
He 'bout got his 'cheeks' handed to him.

Maybe I'm just looking for this stuff now. Yesterday coming back from Destin, Florida after a short, but well needed, vacation at the beach we noticed a guy on a crotch rocket at high speed wearing a t-shirt, shorts and sandals. He was wearing a helmet though which is wierd since no other rider I saw while there was wearing a helmet. Florida must not have a helmet law.

That's probably the only scooter in the world that gets worse gas mileage than my Camry.
