Well, I am 18 yrs old. (at least I think I am) I can't say that I feel younger or older than I really am. What I can say is that I am a heck of a lot wiser and more mature after hanging out with Y'all for a year (yes I'm still a Texan) and spending these past couple of months up here at the USMMA. You guys and gals have had a really positive influence on a lot of people including myself.

In my 40's but being reminded of my age. Other day neighbours said it was nice to see me take my 8 year old out for a ride on the back of the beast. Made me remember that the first time I ever rode an eleven was in back '82 (81 special) when my neighbours were about 8 years old!!!

STEPPENWOLF wrote... 350,000km....dang thats about 210000 mi off the top of my head!
Close, about 218,750 but, at that amount, what's an extra mile or two Hmmmm... come to think of it, guess I don't have to feel so bad 'bout how she looks
...just as long as she still likes to ride !!!
olebiker notes... That is unreal. I doubt when these were made anyone thought that one would still be going after 350,000KMS.
I think that Yamaha suspected that they had created a monster that just would not self destruct and, what else could they do but be XSive ( ) and eliminate it???
After all, businesses won't stay in business long if the products they made lasted forever ! Therefore, they have to rely on their customers to either destroy them or tire of them (XSively unlikely ) so that they ultimately will have to replace them.
Either way, bad for them... good for us !
