4000 th POST!!

Hey all,

Just wanted to post a special thread/reply marking a modest milestone for me, my 4000 th post. I've been on the forum since July, 2002, it says I've averaged 2.6 posts a day since that date!
Come on John(Texas)....you're slacking off!!

God....I gotta get a life!!

THANK YOU TC! I know my bike wouldn't run like it does without his help (and the fact that we have almost the same bike so I could steel all his carb setting and use them on mine ). I don't post as much anymore because it seems that so many people here are becoming well versed in the ways of the XSives, and by the time I read the new posts, somebady has already given good advise, covering what I would have said. I've only got about 31 posts to go before I hit 3000. I could fluff my to 3K, but that wouldn't be right, and besides, I never got the free drinks nor dancing girls when I became the first non moderator to become guru. I think that promise is just a myth.
I have been busy working on the kinks in the carbs on the Foster Child lately, trying to get the pilot circuit straightened out. I've got it pretty close right now.

The XS community IS my other life, and I get great enjoyment and satisfaction "when" I can help others, whether it's solving a troubleshooting problem, or finding a source for parts, etc.!

As I've said before, I'm no mastermind, I make mistakes, but I try to the best of my abilities. And as has been pointed out by John and others, MANY OTHERS contribute daily to this wonderful community we call XS11, and I want to Xtend my thanks for their invaluable input and knowledge and time!

BTW John, leave the "fluffing" to WildKat!!
