My turn. Here are some pictures of the 1100 stable. the silver 84 XJ is mine, The Ruby 82 is one I have picked up for a project. Just started it today, Runs great although still a work in progress. The Virago belongs to SWMBO.
Don't be fooled. I have my work cut out for me. After the Tallimena rally this weekend, for those of you who weren't there, I am down to 2 bikes Of the 4 The 79SF electical starts to cut out after about 200 miles(heat related I think). I don't feel like riding it around in circles that much to find out what is wrong just yet. Now the 79F w/fairing needs to be gone over again. The valves, clutch, carbs, and electrical need work. Mostly just some small adjustments, but with my schedual, I will be lucky to get the fairing off and valve covers off in 1 day. The good bikes are my 80G and the 79F w/ no fairing(How can it break down, it only has 7k orignal miles on it!). My neighbors hate it when I have them all tuned and running at once. They seem to be glad now that I have to spend time working on them with the engines off. I try to clean them every week. I know it, I am a bit insane.

If I can do it at 18 yrs old, anyone can
"You know something, You can't polish a turd"
"What are you rebelling against", "Well, what do you got?"

It is nice to see everyones bikes. It is good to see the variety of ways in which people have taken care of them. Some people have chrome all around, some don't. Whats important is that Technically, they are the same bikes, but in reality, every one is different.

.. yes, there has been a very good response to this thread, it's very cool to see so many others with the same interest in the same type of bike that i have. everyones bikes look so nice, i am proud to be a part of this site.
..maybe someone with the power could make this thread a sticky, this could be the new "User Photo Section"
it would be a shame to see a thread with so many cool bike pics get lost to time.
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.
