Yep good point Bonz, the oil would stop even the initial vapor from getting past it. I'm going to bet that the best plan would be to put it back up to the air filter and let the carbs inject it and burn it off in the cylinders. Do you need a stock hose? I've got one, but the shipping from Canada is bloody ridiculous. Don't mind sending it for cost of shipping if you need it. Least I can do as LoHo was kind enough to send me an exhaust valve when I needed one.
