        50 Days to Go

        Reminder:
We've only got 50 days remaining to get bike & rider ready for the Suwannee River Rally

        Dates: March 6-7-8-9
Location: Lake City Florida on US90
        Motel: Days Inn Lake City

I'm not ready yet but hope to be working on it soon. A good ride opportunity if you are interested. Don has once again offered parking so Truck-Trailer parking available at Don's in Tallahassee. He has lots of space to park so that's not a problem if you are considering trailering in especially from the West or Northwest. Its about 120 miles from Don's to the Rally at Lake City.

Too early for a Ride Plan for the Atlanta group. I may leave Thurs 5th a day early like some of us did last year. Enjoyed the Thursday ride and dinner into middle Georgia. Can book room Now and if necessary Cancel up till Rally Day in case your plans change. Other motels very close-by too if you don't like this one.

          Almost Ready

Scott and I are booked. Weather may be a factor. But trailering, If necessary, is an ok option. Looking forward to it. Always nice to leave with a jacket on and head further south to warm up.

I enjoyed last year's rally but can't make this one. Hope everyone has a good time!

Will probably be up to my knees in Iowa snow by the first week in March.

                        Countdown .........
Seems now only two weeks to go

FWIW, i've got a couple rides put together for Saturday and Sunday. An East Loop for one day and NW Loop for the other. We can adjust either depending on what we feeling like doing.

Plan to hit some alligator restaurants or at least get some seafood and some BBQ along the way.

                        Be nice to Go Ride.

Me too! Time to take a decent ride.
About 1,100 miles total trip from here so I guess that qualifies as a "decent ride".

We are so anxious to get going that Mike, Scott and I are planning to leave Atlanta Thursday around noon. Ride to & fro meandering on some Georgia backroads as we head south. Then stay somewhere in middle Georgia Thursday night. Leaving the last 140 or so miles to Lake City for Friday. Will be at Days Inn about 2:30pm. Don should arrive about that time too. Probably hit up Bubba Jax Crab Shack in Valdosta for lunch if we get near Valdosta by noon on Friday. Brent and his brother John should arrive Rally Central by 6pm.
Plan on a Group Dinner Friday evening.

                              Week to go.

I have some Rally Rides mapped out (just to have some options laid out in case we want to use them) so if anybody wants the GPS data point files let me know.
Haven't selected the tool for the job yet (bike) but it will be one of the E's. Need to change oil & filter and check over both E's this weekend to get them ride ready.

looking like SUNNY and high 60's for this weekends Rally
not 75 degrees but sunny nearly 70 will work ..……..

Mike, Scott and I will leave Atlanta on Thursday afternoon or Friday AM. That will be a TBD on Wednesday.
Likely Brent & John leaving by 10AM Friday and getting some i75 time to get out of here.

Changed oil & filter in both E's yesterday. Test road both (twice) yeah I know, but too nice a day not to ride
Think I will take the Pacifico E rather than riding naked E.
