And since many of us are not local that also would preclude scoping out beforehand.
Not the Super 8, .....Pageant Hills Motel...nothing fancy but two beds for $40 a night aint to bad.

I really don't care where we have it. If somebody 'local' has a place...now is the time to make this your rally. Any place in North Ga, Eastern Tenn, or western NC is OK with me.

I looked at the Iron Horse...seemed kind of expensive (but still OK) for cabins $70-$90 a night for 1 or 2 beds. Maybe I read it wrong.....

        Hi Gary,
Iron horse is a bit upscale ( Hardley on a trailer behind the 40ft + RV)
Could certainly be made to work for us if that is what people want.
$15 to camp in a field for this Cheap Bastard
Cherokee would make a pleasant change. Your Motel sounds really good to me. Plenty of food options too. Good roads in every direction
        Closer to Canada

they do have bunkhouses that can sleep 10 or 12 so that would make a $375 per night 37.50 per person or less depending upon the numbers. But a good motel would be doable. Also maybe possible to find motels in Dahlonega. Marty and his wife will be looking into those as well.Lots of options, just wish we could have TWO instaed.

I am just a few stone throws away from suchess... vote keep it in north ga. There are tons of cabins/campgrounds. I assume you want cabins or lodges with. Camping available also. I will beginthe search. I will get my wife to help also. Let me know how much a night you'd like to shoot for and such. I promise well find a place.
Chris... or you could all bring tents and sleep in my back yard...

I honestly think Suches is about as far South as we would ever want to go. TWO was just a perfect place to have the rally. Personally I don't tent any more, cabin is OK, but I would prefer my own hot shower. I know we all don't get what we prefer....I don't want to spend $100 a night...nobody else does either. I am not sure what the limit is. This 'weekend' is really two weeks for me and Bruce....so if we spend more on gas and motels then we go home early, it's just that simple. I guess this will come down to a vote when two or more suitable places are found.....Thanks for looking let us know what you find.

This looks nice...price not too bad for the time we want to go (plus if we can get 20% off for a group) at least on Sunday night. Close to everything.

About twenty people I ride with and I stay at High Valley Resort every Memorial Day weekend and they are pretty nice. They have big cabins (sleeps about six each), a bunk house that sleeps a bunch of people in bunk beds, four small cabins that have two twin beds each and camping.

I'm going to stay at the Iron Horse in May; I'll let you know how it is.
