Got my jugs back today. Had to get one Pressed out and swapped with another I have. Me and my boss plan on making the trip on our 11's but hopefully mine wont be on a trailer!

No helmet laws for anyone who isn't a minor (mentality doesn't count here... physical age only)

Beer is worthy enough for those in OK and other states with colored water to make beer runs here... more expensive... but more potent too... Should you want to bring some along... we can have a beer tasting and compare them...

Texas have pretty harsh fines? What about helmet laws? Do I need a skid lid? What about beer? will we need to import it from a state with decent percentages? I may need to put my whitewall back on, just to be safe.

LEOs have been out in GREAT numbers lately from the TX/ OK border southward (and everywhere else it seems)....
They are even overly abundant in the small towns and along rural routes (I think half the town populations are traffic cops or State troopers)... so any speed demons (ahem... not that we have any of those in this group... ) watch your speed once you hit Texas...

I was down in Deer Park this last weekend and talked with one of the members down there... He and his lovely lady are planning on attending and said they would would be glad to ride up with you... If he's on his XS... no problem... but if he's on his Busa... well... he'll probably be riding ahead of you...

i would love to come i finally have my bike running and im out in abilene right now but the family is coming out and we are going to the fandango play in albany that saturday. i might have to ride in that friday though.
