  • Cassoday KS

Legend has it that the first Sunday of every month in Cassoday KS there is a rally of sorts where people go to get breakfast.

I am planning on meeting up with my supervisor from work and a few other guys and going there on the 7th of September. I will have my XS there.

    Anyone else planning on going?

Here is a link to some info:

Well, the last Nov 4th was just last year, so that letter is at least a year old. Sounds like a neat gathering though. Come up and see Vincer and Bigfoot in KC, then meet up at this thing before heading home. Check it out for us if you don't mind..

Yeah, I know the letter is old. only thing I could find.

Supposedly there are bikers that come from a few states away, and it is gathering more fame each month. I won't be able to get to KC, I am taking SWMBO along and meeting up with the other bikers from work. Couple of guys on crotch rockets, couple harleys, an old honda and my XS. We may have a biker couple coming from Hutch as well.

The scuttlebutt in the shop is that 254 out of wichita will be 90% bikes that morning and only get worse (better) out of El Dorado.

Hoping to meet a couple more XSives there.

If nothing else, I will have the hot redhead take some pics and post them up somewhere.

LOL.. NO.. I meant that I need to come up and see those guys in KC, then stop in there on my way home. Sorry about the misunderstanding. What I mean has a way of not making it to my fingers sometimes..

What would REALLY make it a good time.. is if everyone had a rideable bike to take to this thing!? LMAO.. Have I rubbed that in enough yet?

As long as I am laughing.. that's the important thing, right?

If you go to this Ivan, I would like to hear about it.

So far the plan is coming together nicely. I am looking forward to going.

I will get some pics for sure.

                  Cassoday

                  Hey all,

I have ridden to the Cassoday rally a number of times, the last was earlier this season. I was told that there was somewhere in the neighborhood of 7000 bikes. Hwy 177 between Eldorado and Strong City is great, very scenic, but just plan on riding it at about 50 or so because of all the slow Harleys, Ha Ha! But it is a good time, and I would recommend going if you haven't ever been. I might go I haven't really decided yet, but I will let you know. Oh, by the way Tod, I have my kegerator up and running if you decide to come up here, so no one will have to go thirsty if you know what I mean.
                  Later,

I may be able to make it.

Tod, are you gonna be up this way?

Russ, give me a call sometime, would love to help you break in that kegorator. I will pm you my number.

Great to here you got the bike going Harry! My Sunday just freed up, so looks like I can go too. If you want to ride down together, let me know where and when to meet up, and I will see you there. I ride in that area quite a bit and can show you some nice scenic, light traffic roads. Hope to see you soon.

Well, seems I am in a situation. The KN airfilter the PO had installed in my machine shrunk. Yep, instead of being a straight trapesoidal shape, one end shrunk up so badly I cant even get it back on.

I don't have another filter, and cant find anyone that does have one. Only thing i have is an expanded metal screen that looks like it might be the frame for a foam type filter. I will try using that ans see if I can get it going.

Anyone coming to this rally have a spare filter sitting around I could buy from them?
