I kinda wanted to throw this out as a potential ride/gathering for those of us out here on the west coast. My brother is a pit crew mechanic and will be in Laguna Seca from July 11-13 for the International Superbike Championship and I will be riding down to see him and watch the race that weekend. You can camp, with your bike, at the track for $30 dollars a night and a 3-day general admission pass runs $70. I would like to leave Portland around Wednesday the 9th and stay overnight somewhere in Northern Cal. on the coast and then be at Laguna by Thursday afternoon on the 10th. I would probably leave Monday the 14th and head back north with maybe a run through wine country or something. It would be great to get a bunch of us together for this and represent the XS. I have never been to this event but my brother was there last year and from his description it sounds most impressive. It is the only race on the West where you can check out all the european riders and and their amazing factory teams. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 7th at 8:00 am for advanced purchase and can be purchased at the gate for about $10 dollars more. Check out this link for more info:
