    I find it very hard to login in to the site. Anyway . . .

    I choose Barre VT as our base, it puts us in the heart of Northern Vermont.

    Based on Dean’s input I’ve reserved 12 rooms under my name, Darrell Newcomb, at:
    https://www.hollowinn.com/
    Hollow Inn & Motel
    278 S Main ST
    Barre, VT 05641-4829
    802-479-9313
    barre.hollow@gmail.com

    They consist of 2 queens for $109 a night. It’s a very long ride for me to get there so I’ll probably overnight Thursday somewhere along the way.

    Marty and I will be reviewing routes this weekend. I’ve done some preliminary mapping of routes, with loops into NH, NY and even northern ME, looks like a whole lot of nothing up in ME. I can put together what I think are interesting rides but it won’t be the hard riding we’ve done in previous years, more of sightseeing rides.

    We’ll still have to figure out places to eat, so that’ll be part of the planning. Looks like some sort of eatery right across the street.

    Dean mentioned that a very impressive granite quarry is just down the road which may be worth a look.

    Now to work on t-shirts. I’m thinking of calling this the Green Mountain G____________ something.

          Sorry about the thread title but it seems it can't be changed. I hope to get the t shirt right.

          Marty came down last weekend to help set up some routes. Each it about 150 miles, Sat to the north and Sun to the east. I don't know if he can post them to this site. And he showed me how to login.

          Is anyone planning on attending this? Dean expressed interest. If this is just a rally of two, I'll do it.

                I'll send files to Gerald over in CO. Like the past few years he'll whip up a web page with links for downloads, then post a link to his web page here.
                Watch for:
                PDF files for printing paper maps;
                GPX files that you can import into many mapping programs;
                GDB files for Garmin GPS;
                maybe a couple of JPEG files showing an overview (not too detailed) of the routes.

                    Most Likely Linda and I will be attending.

                    The chosen area seems really nice.

                    We just recently lost the Matriarch of our family and have the necessary tasks to attend to, so I'll confirm asap.

                    Thank You Darrell and Marty for getting this together.

                        Jerry's web page for us

                        Jerry Fields kindly made up a web page for the XS East 2019 rally. It has the files for you to download, as I mentioned above.
