I'm trailering up solo...thought mlew was going to join me but he has other family obligations...going to leave 12 midnight Friday and hopefully arrive 12 noon friday...going up I95 to wash dc then splitting off NWesterly into MD and then PA...into upstate NY...no tolls till I get on the NY Thruway at Scenectidy NY...
I still have a bed available if anyone wants to split the costs...

Riding up from WashDC

If I’m going up solo I may head to DE Thurs night and overnight in Wilmington. Next day head up I-95 on the west bank to PA-206 to I-287 to I-87 then north.

Otherwise I’ll head up Fri morning probably around 0930 after rush hour taking 15 to I-78 to I-287 and points north.

I can alter this to meet up with Dwayne, Earl G, or anyone else. But Rt-1 is out – agony going through PA – heat, traffic and red lights.

Return on Monday.

I am bringing 2 more with me; They are known to some of you who ride far south.
Don from near Tallahassee FL is coming on a black Harley. He has been seen at XSsoutheast on old gold wings as well as HD, also on Key West ride.
Stewart from Snellville, GA is coming on a Honda gold wing. He has made the Key west trip several times. Both plan to stay with me, therefore my room will be full.

I just made a reservation at the hotel for May 22nd thru the 24th.
I will be trailering my bike from Mystic, CT ( another good location to visit ).

Are other brands allowed ? In addition to my XS 1100, I would like to bring my BMW with an EML sidecar

There will be at least one BMW this year and probably a Harley or two
We do like to see as many XS as possible but bring what ever you like or is running
Keep track of you distance traveled as bikes on trailers qualify for the dreaded Hardley award. ( As in Hardley touched the ground )

Possibility that Mark Lew will be coming up with me... so we'll split the room i have ...just wondering if 2 people were ever awarded the Harley award at the same rally...we'll be trailering up...

Ben, the last 2 years, TC and I trailered up. We decided the the award went to the one who's bike traveled the furthest without a rider.
So, depending on who loads up the bike first, or which one of you rode the bike to the other's house to load up, that would be the "tie" breaker.
