    Northeast Get Together!!!

Been reading about this since last year.I'm a new member and live 50 minutes from Glenn's falls.I picked up an 1980 xs 1100sg.Pacifica Fairing.all stock.54.000miles she runs great. She is a work in progress. My plan was to just show up at hotel to introduce myself , since I've been reading all your posts for a year...I thought it would be great to see all your rides , take some pics.Well as fate will have it.Bikes down part ordered might be here bye next Thursday or Fri.Just the way it goes. One way or the other car or bike I would like to say Hello!!.And see your rides..And I see you have a great ride planned..I have little problem sitting in the saddle for long rides. As I have a pinch nerve that I'm trying to figure out , how to fix.Anyways hope to see some of you soon.Ride Safe, Watch out for the girls on cell phones driving hundred miles an .hr...Peace!!!.

Well some of us were lost for a while, and some still are.
You don't need to be posting you should be packing!!

If I remember to bring them I will have handouts of the routes for those who didn't or couldn't print their own.

    Duwayne Potter (dpotter58)

A buddy of mine, Steve is supposed to be traveling with me. He has bailed out on trips with me so I don't really know if he will be there but I'm hoping so. [/QUOTE]

    Saturday group supper

For our Saturday night group supper we are eating at the Golden Corral. For those who don't know this is an all-you-can-eat joint, specializing in quantity. You pay as you enter and leave when you are full. They have good food, all buffet style, serve yourself. They normally do not take group reservations, because they are always busy, so for this to work we need to collect and pay for the food all at once. We will have to collect $16.00 (includes tip) from everyone and pay when we get there.

From our motel this place is one exit north on the Northway, not far.

Get on with it, we have another rally to go to and I change my oil at home now.

    oil caps

Oil caps, reminds me of the time Mark and I were coming back from a rally, and Marks bounced out some how after leaving a petrol station....He parked whilst I went back to look for it.....anyway, no find it did I....ended up whittling up a piece of alder wood and threading it in. Worked...

Had my st1300 out for a run, changed the oil and put softer, comfier hand grips on, few more things to check, seems like it will do the 800 mile run....

Got some travel insurance today, just in case....Mark and I went out for coffee couple days ago. Went on my bike 1st time he has seen it. Anyway gotta go Guys see ya'll in a couple weeks.
