        • I just got my bike all put together yesterday. I'll take her for a spin today, but everything looks OK. I hate to say this, but the weather forecast looks perfect! I'm looking forward to another great XSEast!

Earl G replied back to my offer to ride together. He is ridding down with Ralph and will be at hotel thursday night so our paths would not cross thanks for the offer to ride together. He will see us there.

A good weather forecast means I should put up two fields of hay during my long week-end. SORRY!
I'll try to stay up Fri. morning when I get home from work and mow two fields down.
IF I can get someone to operate my equipment [that I can "trust"] THEN I may be able to ride on the Sat. ride.
I'll then plan on putting up one field of hay on Sunday, the other on Monday, then leave out for work late Monday evening.
I'll need a "kick stands up" time for the group rides AND an aprox. time everyone will leave the hotel to go to the supper locations; especially on Sat.

                      • Don't get busted in Summersville. If the sign says 50 MPH is the limit, count on getting a ticket if you're going 51 or more. Last time I was there, I ran the gauntlet of 14 speed traps going through town.

Brent & I went for a little ride today to lament not being packed and ready to ride to XS East. Not for this year anyways.
Plus he needed to get in a few more break-in miles and do the 1st oil change on his new bike. After all those 215,000 miles on
that red Fireman's Special this new machine will be ready for the miles shortly. So be looking for a black HD rather than the red HD
                              we've grown accustomed to.

Heading home after our 50 mile ride today -but- anxiously awaiting when the break-in is over.
