I'd be partial to Va/WV, but that due to location. (I want to give up that Harley award!)
Seriously though, I'd prefer some twisties vice the faster sweepers.
I guess going to XS SE for the first time this year really got the bug in me excited about seeing what my XS can do!
I suppose it should be a little farther north otherwise it's just another SE rally, right?
I think depending on our group's size, that maybe 2 (or more) groups may be the way to go. At XS SE, trying to herd 20+ bikes together was interesting. It's going to happen that the group gets stretched out, but at least at SE there were 2 groups and a leader for each so that it wasn't too bad.
East last year was fun, but then again it was my FIRST rally and I had nothing to compare it to. Now that I've been to SE, WOW!
I want twisties!
Just my 2 cents, I'll go wherever the decision is made to go.

Pineville.. I recall going to the Drug Store for Beer. Which was right at the front. Cigarettes were all over the cash counter and you had to find your way past the Pop (soda) and chips to get to the Pharmacist. God help you if you were actually sick Some lucky guys brought their young daughters along which was pretty brave in those days.
A fun rally and pleasant memories....let's go somewhere else.

ha.....well I tried Phil.
Maybe I'll head through Kentucky on the way home.
Hi Dean,
I really like the idea of the crooked road which I know you have ridden. The whole area is good. i just think we should go to a different town this time. The advantage of being closer to the interstate is more place to eat and choice of motels one of which will offer us a deal. Most of us are cheap bastards as you know.
Trying to live the high life on a low income is a bitch

Ok Ky is a bit far for some of us . I think more north ,because few of our northern might not come that far south. Some might not go that far west . I wouldn't mind going northeast Vt. maybe again to see Mitch maybe.
