      • I’m working on having my wife, Karen, drive out an ride with us Saturday. She’s not real thrilled with the idea of sitting behind me for the day so we’ll see how it goes. My younger son, Collin, and a friend are riding bicycles from DC to Pittsburgh this week. So the plan is for Karen to pick them and their bikes up Sun in Pitt.

If Karen doesn’t come I may ride out on the 78E if it behaves. Put Access coils and use P/Us but I haven’t tried it in the rain. Last time I rode it a distance it started bogging down for a reason I could never figure out.

Collin lost his desire to ride after he dumped the 78E last year. He overran a turn at an intersection and dropped it on a soft shoulder as it low sided on him. Into my parts hoard for another turn signal.

            • Checking In. I arrived home safe after a super slab uneventful ride home. Just before 7m Some rain in WV & PA but otherwise excellent weather for a blast up the slab. Border crossing also uneventful in less than 10 minutes.
Thanks MartyA for an excellent rally and to allthe other participants thanks for being part of the fun.

                              • We stopped at a Timmy in Guelph about 4:30ish and a guy on a cruiser was just getting on his biketo leave.

Pam said to him "Nice day for a ride"

He asked "Where are you coming from?"

Pam said with a straight face "West Virignia"......

The look on his face..... was priceless!
