We will be having lunch at Quinets Court again, on Saturday, in New Martinsville, WV. Lunch Sunday will be at the Western Steer Family Steak House in Elkins. Some of you might remember that place, we rode past it during our rally in Elkins and there were 50 Goldwings in the parking lot.

Still only 11 rooms. Hey Scout you coming up?

Here is exit 119 of I-79, where our motel is. There is a big mall nearby and I have pointed out just some of the bunch of regular restaurants and fast food joints there and around the exit. I think the motel has breakfast, if not there is a Bob Evans a 2 minute ride away, not in the photo, and one can still get a breakfast sandwichs at the FF joints or the Eat n Park or other places nearby.
We are having Saturday night supper at the Texas Roadhouse. They won't reserve however if we get there by 5-5:515 we should be able to be served somewhat together and somewhat quickly. The choices for a large group were limited, there is an Eat n Park and Applebees and all those, but the Roadhouse is OK.
Sunday supper is on your own. I figger I'll be wiped out by then and tired of looking at yer ugly mugs....
You should be able to click on the photos and make them bigger.
Here is an overview of Saturday's route:
And Sunday's route:

I had limited time to get this together this year, so while the routes are good there are limited stops along the way for other than lunch and gas. If I see a stop n stretch spot and the timing is right I might take it. All I have planned are the gas stops and the lunch stops, nothing in-between like tourist traps or caves or big holes in the ground.
Need someone to host my map files if anyone wants them? I have
GPX, the waypoint file for importing into other formats;
GDB, the Garmin file format;
Turn by turn in PDF format (for you paper map gluttons);
And Streets and Trips 2010 version.Marty in NW PA

Steve and I will be there, but I'm not sure if I'll be commuting, sharing a room or have a room of my own, it depends on if my wife, Cindy, will be traveling with me or not.
On the commuting end, it will take me aprox. 1hr 45 min. from Summersville, and I could even hook up with Jeff so the three of us could travel together.
Speaking of which, we need a "kick stands up" time for the commuters.
Steve will have new tires on his 'Wing, soo-- we gotta get those "chicken feathers" wore off of them on one of the day rides, huh Marty!
I'm REALLY looking forward to having lunch again at Quinets Court!

Hey greg, I am in the same boat. Don't know if I will stay or just ride up one day. if you want to meet up in Summersville that would be cool with me. I would much rather have someone to ride with.Jeff

Thanks for the "kick stands up" time.
As mentioned, count Steve and me "in".
Jeff, I'll keep you posted,, gotta nail it down with my wife if she's gonna attend this year - -- I keep bragging up Quinets Court to sway her!
'Looking forward to seeing everyone again, thanks for coming T.C. Also, as I've already stated, Bud and Fran, you'll be missed.
Ride Safe,

I just looked at the 10 day forecast for Bridgeport. Everything looks good but fiday is 60% chance of rain with 64 degree high, Saturday is 0 percent with 75 degrees. This will be the farthest I have ever ridden my bike yet. hopefully it will be up to it. I think everything is good except the fork seals. I cant wait though. Riding is such a relaxer, I am going to go ride somewhere today. Greg, anytime you want to ride, give me a call.Jeff

I'm REALLY "In"
'Just booked a room in the XSEast Block.
My wife informed me that if she didn't go that our daughter Sarah would. Of course my daughter replied that she'd love to. [I'm thinking that this could be another graduation present, she just graduated law school]
Sarah's no "green horn". Once I had to pick her up in Martinsburg, WV [Eastern Panhandle] and I warned her that I only stop when the 'Wing needs gas and to plan out rest room/cigarette stops accordingly.
About 35 miles out of Margantown on I-68 it started raining HARD! We stopped beneath a overpass where a [sorry Brent] Harley rider was waiting it out. Sarah and I put on our rain suits, and the Harley rider asked "you're not going out in THIS, are you?" I replied that I had over 100 miles to go and yes, I was.
About 35 miles later, the 'Wing was low on gas, so barely out of Morgantown we stopped again. At the gas pumps it was raining so hard that the run off was over Sarah's tennis shoes! No complaints, just used the rest room, lit a cig and climbed aboard again!
Sooo - if I'm not there with Cindy, I'll be there with the family lawyer.
EVERYONE: Ride Safe,
Greg C.
