Didn't see any moose either. Thanks Rick for the stay, Mark for the jacket, Bruce for the pin and shirt off his back and Wayne for the wine. Will see you all next year I promise.
      Hi Rochelle,
We are going to miss you too. Enjoy your ride and ride safely.

      • No problem my man

Have you selected the routes yet. It's been 38 years since I've lived there but i remember several good roads for bikes. Friend of mine put a delta 88 over the tree tops on head lake and I had to swim back to the car and pull the 8 track tape out off the sterio as it sunk. CCR, didn't want to loose the 8 track. (young & stupid)

Yes, I have been working out routes. I need to do a dry run in the spring to make sure the roads are XS friendly. I also have to work out lunch stops for sunday. I will try and post them in the spring. If I don't post them, everybody will have their own copy when they arrive.

                Thanks Ben,
We are definitely going to miss Ralph, Rochelle and now Rick. I do though want to thank you for your positive input. I've really enjoyed the planning part of it. Hopefully with good planning and some good advice we will have a successful and safe rally. I too am looking forward to it.

                • Here is a couple of pictures of the train in Haliburton. It is just down the road from the motel and I figured it would be a great spot for our group photo. Sorry they are so small. Couldn't find any bigger.

I was talking to Ken (NewBee)tonight . He and his wife plan to go. Apparently he didn't get the hint when we left him behind last year. I bet he's going to fill up the night before this time LOL!!:

Looks like fun. Wwonder why the parking lot at train at left is painted white??
                          Very clean looking place.

                            Hi Brent,
That is not paint. It's crushed styrofoam they spread around to simulate snow for the tourist brochure.

Have not heard from Mitch. Gary C says he will be away in June and July so unable to attend this year.
