A buddy of mine just came back from WV and he says theres nobody on the roads and NO COPS either....plus I know someone who can give us local knowledge of great roads to ride...this area is also in proximity to Somerset PA...but stay out of Ohio...although its just like WV there are cops everywhere. I've heard that the Somerset area is too congested with traffic and what else is there after riding to the memorial?...being memorial day weekend that area will most likely be totallly overrun with tourists going to the memorial. NW WV sounds like an ideal spot and as already noted its within proximity to the memorial...plus it will offer some excellent roads that are lightly traveled by cars and cops...I dont see the need to be right on top of Somerset to have this rally..nor are we going to spend more than 1/2 a day at the memorial and 1/2 a day riding to and from it.1980 XS650G Special-Two

Exactly what I was thinking, Somerset could be one of the stops one of the days. Or, if enough don't want to go to Somerset, we can split groups - kind of like we did on the second leg on Sunday in Vermont. The 'does my muffler sound loud' run
