Help with 750 rear
Maximan,
I likely will take you up on your offer to help with my mod.
I am just wondering if any year 78-80 xs750 rear hub will work.
I today accidentially posted this and a related question (re:750 rear rim) in a new thread, you'll see it there.
The bronze bushing you mention is the bushing which also can be made from copper pipe in the mod description?
About the 'hype':
I am not worshipping the earth. (Albeit, it is my only home)
I do know though, that the very very thin layer of breathable air, covering the globe, is essential for me and my children and all the other species. It is fragile in the face of 6 billion humans who all want now a piece of the American dream, which translates into consume at all cost...SUV's and all
That is what I am a tad freaked out about.
And hey, it is OK to agree to disagree on any issue. I am not trying to convert anyone, but I certainly have to follow my own conscience.
BTW , I did read Micheal Creighton's "State of Fear " in which he attempts to call the bluff of the bleeding heart environmentalists. I hear he is now adviser to your fearless leader George Bush on climate issues.
So yes, I am afraid alright......but not enough not to drive a 1100cc motorbike appearently. If consistency is the only way to integrity, I suppose I am flawed like most of us...
For what it's worth, even Kermit the frog knew: It is not easy to be green
