I took off the stock bar and measured the posts to be 1 inch in diameter. These posts are splined (sp?) and the one inch is the widest point.
I agree about the tank being in the way for tight turns, definitely not too much room there.
The FJ bars look like they could fit - probably find some cheap on ebay too. I know there is a few with FJ's on here, anyone have one torn apart so they could check the post size? If I am really lucky they could fit AND clear the tank with the rise shown!
