Hey Bandet,
If you went to the Viper's Friend's website, you'd have read this..
Mike Townsend has been developing this
bike for better than 10 years. A local guy with
amazing perseverance. Lots of blown up
motors. Many R&D parts that he made him
self, including his own Cylinders. Check out
the next few pics. A really super job. Quite a
difference from the 1st rendition.
Started life as an XS1100. Notice why he
needs that Phat skin on the back?
There's a hell of alot of plumbing stuffed in
there, and nicely routed. This is years of work.
300+rwhp, that Phat rear skin spools up the
900lb drum on the dyno so quicky its mental.
The bike looks sharp as a tack in person,
sounds awsome. Clean looking, proffesional
work. Click on Mikes website below, Mike
specialises in Honda Valkerie mods.
runaway with it? He's probably also rather busy with his
own business, but hopefully he'll drop back in with more info and
photos? Until then, we'll just wipe the drool from our chins and
carry on!

Jebus... and I thaught the biggest XS engine was 1300. (FJ1200 cyls drilled to 1300, twin spark, etc...).
And I thaught I was nuts.
LPIf it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Taking a shot at some possibilities...
It looks like Viper plumbed the compressor to the air box by running a big tube up and over the engine (under the gas tank). That rubber hose running down from the turbo is the oil line...probably the drain.
Now, more questions. Can Yamaha transmission parts (especially XS or XJ parts) transmit that kind of power? Hell, my stock parts can't even transmit 90 Hp.XJ1100 - Stock

Photos got dumped!
Hey GNEPIG,
They're still there, just sometimes PHOTODUMP has hiccups, or their servers go down, or need servicing, etc. and so the links sometimes don't work, but they are back now! IF you want them so much, just save them to your harddrive!

I'll take two. One for me, and one for my mom when she turns 75.
No really,, Just a couple of concerns. With all them ponies. That back axle doesn't have two much to hold onto. Is that regular steal or tempered? How bout some steal braided brake lines. Not tryin to knock the work. The bike is sharp.S.R.Czekus

I assume with all the $$ spent there could be some custom fab gears. I must admit. When I first saw the post, I thought it was BS. Now I don't know what to think. I would like to see it in person.United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY
