Idle jet

Has anyone filled the float bowls with carb cleaner in order to soak the idle jet for a couple of hours and help clean it? I have read via AI that one method of cleaning the idle jet without removing the carbs is to try this method. Thoughts/suggestions?

I don’t believe that method will be successful for this carburetor. I’m sure it’s a waste of effort. The carburetors are easy enough to remove and replace. Pull them and remove the bowls.

some CV carburetors have the pilot jets in the bowl. Not these.
