    So when you're traveling how can you do you know where THE 1101 is? A 1100 doesn't quite exactly define it.

      Actually, the XS1100 has an 1102cc engine from the factory, so the street is always 1 behind......

        I'm not usually a fan of custom bikes, but I particularly like the paint job and the wire wheels.

            I'm afraid I'd get a little too wet trying to ride over there, not from rain mind you...

              Radius squared = 71.5 ÷ 2 = 35.75 x 35.75
              = 1278
              X
              Stroke. = 68.6
              = 87.675
              X
              π. 3.142
              = 275.475
              X
              Number of cylinders = 4
              =. 1101.9
              So it's not actually 1102 is it? I mean, it's clearly moulded in to the cylinders isn't it!Why would the manufacturer say it's 1101 if it's not?

                The rounding factor! To the nearest CC, it's rounded up to 1102.

                  So why didn't Yamaha call it an 1102?

                    And I never knew the XS is almost a 1102, never too old to learn
