    Gunson Colortune

I've had a Gunson Colortune in the drawer for a very long time. I put it to use today on the XS11. Carburetor #2 was very close. The rest read very rich. I did the setup with a warm engine and fresh E0 fuel. I'm wondering what difference it's going to make. I'm going to find out. Yes, I followed by syncing the carburetors. Fuel economy last checked was 37.4 mpg.

Yes. I should have put it on the XS11 years ago. I have only one bike tuned that way.

I couldn't even get them close by ear. The Color tune is my go to. I always tune them in so that they are just a 1/4 turn to the rich side. I prefer that versus the lean side to guard against heat.

I was just doing a search for one and it seems that the 14mm are out of stock on the Gunson site. There are several available out on Ebay but most are from Australia with an almost 280.00 price tag. I know the tariffs have things screwed up but that price is just a tad high.

                    Yeah.... (;☉_☉)

And now that I've finally caved in and went to buy one all's I can do is put it on my Amazon wishlist.... (●´⌓`●)

To make matters even WORSE??" (╯•﹏•╰)

My gad-a-bouts usually take me to areas where the 15% "winter" ethanol drops down to the 10% for warmer weather. (๑´• .̫ •ू`๑)

Due to the ongoing gas shortages/prices I hear the guvment is letting the 15% ethanol continue open ended. (Θ︹Θ)7

So much fOaR getting the perfect color flame at 10% and hitting the road. (-‸ ლ)

Gonna have to just stay at 1 1/4 turns out and hope for the best.... (*′☉.̫☉)
