When you tap the alt side seal in, use a block of wood so you do not tap in too far, otherwise it will be crooked and you will have to start over again with a new seal. When you get the old seal out, look at the case halfs closely and you will see what I mean.2H7 (79) owned since '89

Have yoiu cinsidered the possibility it might be the O-ring in the galley plug?
My SF was leaking out the RH cover, and it was merely an O-ring that is easy to replace.-Mike

The bolt I got that pops the rotor out is 24 mm socket. Anyone know what size socket the bolt holding the rotor in? My socket set is only up to 19 mm. Anything bigger I need to buy or borrow along with the impact wrench.80 GComment
