Fj1200 fork swap?

Hello I was looking at an fj1200 the other day and I was curious if anyone has taken the forks off that and swapped them on to an xs11?

I remember when you guys did that mod... quite a read.

It was a popular swap and relatively easy (provded you don't have two left hands). If you want it go for the later model with the 17" wheel, thicker fork legs and 4-piston calipers on 320mm disc brakes..

I have easily ridden over 100K miles on these, rebuilt them a couple times over the years.

The way I did the mod was to only use the forks and TT's, the rest is still almost all XS. A lot of trial and error.
