Hello I was looking at an fj1200 the other day and I was curious if anyone has taken the forks off that and swapped them on to an xs11?

It was a popular swap and relatively easy (provded you don't have two left hands). If you want it go for the later model with the 17" wheel, thicker fork legs and 4-piston calipers on 320mm disc brakes..XS1100 3X0 '82 restomod, 2H9 '78 chain drive racer, 3H3 '79 customized.

The way I did the mod was to only use the forks and TT's, the rest is still almost all XS. A lot of trial and error.2H7 (79) owned since '89
