I just wanted to know what everyone is doing to replace the subject part that is no longer available. It is the rubber part that is shown in the picture item 30.

About 2 years ago I was looking at replacing rubber pieces on my 80 SG.- the side cover grommets and found some on E bay that had various rubber pieces.
1980 XS1100 SG
Inline fuel filters
New wires in old coils-outer spark plugs
160 mph speedometer mod
Kerker Exhaust
xschop K & N air filter setup
Dynojet Recalibration kit
1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100
1997 Jeep Cherokee 4.5"lift installed
The first few times, I tried getting a big electrical grommet and increasing the size of the slot on the bandsaw. Unfortunately, they didn't last.
Now I am using two rubber garden hose washers (not the plastic ones). You can wrap the stud with a split pice of rubber hose or silicone tape.

Yup, no need to look for that specific rubber. Your caliper bracket can not go anywhere, its just to stop rattle and noise from steel on steel. You can use anything that fits and stays in one piece.
