    I know what you're thinking "How the heck is THAT going to work?" but it does! Granted, you probably don't want to try this on a pristine surface but if you're like me and prefer the "Honest Survivor" look then it does a good job, especially on pipes.

    Some folks like to dip the foil in Coca Cola because the phosphoric acid helps to remove the rust and leaves a phosphate barrier.

    I tried it on an exhaust system. It worked for me, but it didn't seem like a miracle.

      I wouldn't call it a miracle either, the cheapo Turtle Wax chrome cleaner works just as well but foil will often flake off and get into pitted areas making it look a bit better when done.
