  • Brake Bar Tension Grommet

Has anyone found a replacement for item # 31 pictured below? They are calling it a spacer. I would call it a rubber grommet. This would be for the rear brake tension bar on the specials. Thanks.

I was buying large electrical grommets and drilling out the center to fit, but they didn't fit well and they only lasted about 5k miles. Usually it would take a few tries to drill them successfully.

Recently, I have been placing a garden hose washer on each side of the plate and it works better. I used the red rubber washers (not the plastic ones) that are rated for hot water.

I can't take a picture now, but maybe next week.
