Does anyone know what size screw to attach the top to the carburetor? Metric screw maybe M 4? Takes 16 screws-need extras.

I've had a problem using them and others have as well, it's easy to put too much torque on them and strip out the threads so be careful!1980 XS1100G

I agree it is much easier to strip the threads out of the carb. One thing I have found with the hex head bolts is that if you buy them a bit longer then OEM philips (JIS) headed screws that you have much less chance to strip anything out. Years ago I bought the Allen head button screws through crazy steve I believe a moderator on here. I also have JIS screwdrivers. Not everyone is ham fisted on here.1980 XS1100 SG
