How I remove those pesky pilot screw plugs

    Would love to be able to attend one of those. I was stationed in Idaho back in the 70s and drove through Colorado several times... north to south. Beautiful country.

            You can also use a small slide-hammer to pull the plugs but I rarely found it necessary. I have one in my tools but rarely used it for this purpose and then only when I felt the plug was otherwise too hard to get into.

            Putting a sleeve on the drill bit so you can't go into far is well worth the time and effort to make one up... Actually after making one, I found I could use a drilling guide from my Snap On broken stud extractor set but not many have those and I'm not sure if I still do either...
