I don't have the vent hose that probably came with it and am tired of seeing little drops of acid all over after riding. I tried some fuel line. Short lived solution. What won't get eaten up?

I believe the hose is a plastic/vinyl material. The acid comes in a plastic container!! Perhaps even some polyurethane would work! Seems you found that Sulfuric Acid disolves "natural rubber"!!

My last battery replacement was a sealed battery. No vent hose, threw the old one away.Pat Kelly

Vinyl tubing or (stock) neoprene (synthetic rubber) though that could be hard to find. I'd go with vinyl.Shiny side up,

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting, "WOW, what a ride !" - Sprung
